Exchange Service Maintenance

On Friday, April 17th, 2026, at 8:00 PM (CET), we will carry out maintenance on our Exchange cluster. During this time, Exchange services may be temporarily unavailable.

On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, we will perform maintenance on our internal firewalls at the FRA1 site. During this process, the remaining Sophos UTM firewalls will be replaced with new firewalls, as the former have been discontinued by Sophos.
During the migration, there may be temporary availability issues with our management portals. The following systems are affected by the migration:

- External availability of certain backup services
- Nameserver ns2.ip-projects.de (194.45.196.14)
- Time service ntp-fra1.ip-projects.de (194.45.196.8)
- Monitoring services (sensors at the FRA1 location)
- One-time secret service

No impact on the availability of customer systems (servers, vServers, etc.) is expected at this time. However, due to the migration, there may be delays in ticket processing by our first-level support.

Traffic Switch - FRA11 Location

On Thursday, April 9, 2026, we are planning a system changeover at the FRA11 site at 5:00 PM. This involves optimizing the traffic path and preparing for the deprovisioning of the remaining Juniper switches.

Traffic to the FRA4 and FRA1 sites will be rerouted to a direct connection between the edge switch and the backhaul switch to eliminate the previous detour via the Juniper switches.

Due to the migration, packet loss may occur for a few seconds for traffic exchanged via the carriers at the FRA11 site.

Maintenance was successfully completed at 6:40 p.m.Due to a formatting error, there was a disruption affecting the 134.255.244.0/24 prefix for approximately 10 minutes, and there was also an interruption in our VLAN transport services. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Warning: Phishing emails circulating in the name of IP-Projects

Please do not enter any data, do not visit any linked pages, and always check the actual sender address. A domain or contract with us will never expire without a prior cancellation on file.
